• HOW DO I SELL MY GOLD & VALUABLES?

  You can drop into one of our locations, Hamilton or Burlington. When you come in, your items will be valued and assessed in front of you by a qualified buyer in a relaxed atmosphere. Our buyer will explain to you in a simple and straightforward fashion what it is you have, and provide you an offer on the items we are interested in acquiring. If you decide to sell your valuables you will be paid immediately in cash or by cheque. There are no fees to examine your valuables, or obligation to sell; assessment of the value your goods are free of any charges.

• WHO DO YOU TRUST??

  Deal with a long established, reputable, local company. Ask questions like: How long have you been in the jewellery business, and where? Do you have a proper business license? Can I visit your store, or see your web site? How and where do I contact you?

• WHAT TO AVOID?

  We would not recommend mailing your valuables, dealing with non-professionals (like at home jewellery parties); or dealing with buyers "flying in" and buying goods at local hotels for few days and then disappearing. You are probably not getting highest possible value for your valuables from such buyers! We would recommend local, well-established businesses with great reputations and professional buyers.

• HOW DO YOU PAY FOR ITEMS YOU BUY?

  We pay you immediately with a cash or check, (the option is yours). We do require proof of identification before a transaction is finalized; we advise to bring your driver's license with you.

• ARE APPRAISALS/ESTIMATES DONE ON PREMISSES?

  Yes, we do appraisals/estimates on site, and these are FREE of any charges.

• ARE APPRAISALS/ESTIMATES DONE BY QUALIFIED PROFESSIONALS?

• IS DESIGNER OR ANTQIUE JEWELLERY WORTH MORE MONEY?

  Yes in most cases they are (unless damaged, or too old fashioned). In most cases, original, authentic signed pieces from famous Jewellers, or fine quality antique (undamaged) pieces would bring more money then "ordinary" or "generic", modern jewellery.

• HOW DO I KNOW I AM RECEIVING MOST $ FOR MY VALUABLES?

  We are located locally for over 25 years and have been buying and selling jewellery to thousands of satisfied clients! We have been the premier destination and first choice for the buying and selling of estate gold jewellery, diamonds and antiques in the Hamilton/Burlington area for over 25 years! We operate two brick and mortar stores in Hamilton and Burlington, and are open seven days a week. Our on-site buyers are experienced and knowledgeable as this has been our business for a long time.

• DO I NEED A WRITTEN APPPRAISAL TO SELL MY JEWELLERY?

  An appraisal is helpful when selling a piece of diamond jewellery, but it is not necessary. If you already have an appraisal, bring it along with your jewellery. This information may be helpful to us in regards to jewellery details, for instance quality of diamonds or gemstones.

• CAN I GET EXACT VALUE BEFORE YOU SEE AN ITEM?

  Unfortunately, this is not possible. Over the phone we cannot see the condition and quality of the piece you are thinking of selling. We must physically inspect each item to formulate the best possible offer. We are willing to offer (when possible) approximate estimated value over the phone pending final inspection; however, the reality remains that we must examine your valuables in person to make accurate determinations of value and our offer.

  Yes, we are long-time members of the Canadian Jewellers Association.
